How can I pay?
Credit card, debit card or PayPal are the options we offer. Maybe one day you’ll be able to pay us in beer, but for now, we’re keeping things simple.
When can I pay?
If you purchase a recurring subscription, it’ll be every month on the same date. Otherwise you’ll pay for the whole subscription at once – it’s up to you. We close orders on the 20th of the month, every month,
When will I receive my Books Plus Beer?
We pack and ship boxes once orders close on the 20th of the month – and you should receive your box by the end of the same month. So an order placed on March 20th will be delivered by around March 31st.

I'd like to cancel my subscription
You can do this by logging in to your account and cancelling your subscription. If you pay via PayPal, you may need to cancel there too. Please ensure you cancel before the date your payment is due – i.e. if you pay on March 15th, you’ll need to cancel by March 14th in order to ensure your subscription is cancelled and you don’t receive the following month’s box. Members with an ongoing subscription can cancel or pause their Books + Beer membership at any time with no cancellation fees. Please simply contact us via email: email@example.com.
If for whatever reason you wish to return your box, please pack this securely and include your full name and delivery address along with your return. Customers are responsible for your box and all costs incurred for postage until it reaches our warehouse, and we recommend you ship using a tracked service. Please ensure you email us to advise of your return and the reason you wish to request a refund: firstname.lastname@example.org. Goods must be unopened and in saleable condition.
You must be aged 18 or older to buy alcohol. By placing an order with us online you are confirming you are aged 18 or older. We will only supply alcohol-based products to persons who are over the legal age, which is 18 years old in the United Kingdom and otherwise in full compliance with the law. In accordance with the Licensing Act 2003 and Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 it is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol. Similarly, any person over the age of 18 purchasing alcohol on behalf of any person under the age of 18 also commits an offence.
If you are buying alcohol for someone else the recipient must also be aged 18 or older. By placing an order on the site and completing the order process which forms part of the contract of sale you thereby confirm that you are over 18, that someone over the age of 18 will be available to accept delivery at the delivery address provided for your order and that delivery will not be accepted by any person under 18 at that address. We reserve the right to cancel the delivery if the age and identity of the recipient is in doubt.
